HeatSmart firebricks are 100% natural wood with no additives. Our bricks are made of recycled wood byproducts from sawmills. The material is dried and then formed into a compressed brick that weighs 3—3.25 lbs. One ton of HeatSmart bricks has approximately the same BTU value as a full cord (±5500 lbs.) of seasoned red oak firewood. HeatSmart bricks are conveniently shrink-wrapped in packages of 8 bricks each for easy storage and use in fireplaces, wood stoves, and outside fire pits. The bricks are easy to light and produce much less ash than regular firewood.

This product must be stored indoors.

Firelog and Bricks will absorb moisture out of the atmosphere and will become brittle if exposed to humidity.
